This role involves receiving a coversheet and assigned cart for order series, logging into the voice system for directed picking, and moving through product aisles to pick and place correct products and quantities into the cart. Small items may be bagged or banded. The picker verifies products during picking and potentially packing. Daily production records may be maintained. After completing the cart, it's returned to the staging area. Packing involves verifying products against packing lists, selecting appropriate boxes/envelopes to prevent damage, and packing orders neatly and correctly, ensuring items like glass, liquids, and standing items are handled properly. Errors are reported and corrected. Packed orders are sent via conveyor for sealing and then to the shipping location. Special orders follow a specific process. Empty boxes and packaging are disposed of properly to maintain a safe and clean environment. Participation in special projects and other duties as required is expected. All positions must meet company standards for quantity and quality, comply with policies and procedures, and adhere to workplace behavior standards.
