About The Position

This role involves picking, sorting, packing, shipping, and receiving materials for both international and domestic shipments. The position requires performing visual inspections, utilizing warehouse technology like RF scanners, and adhering to standard work instructions and operating procedures. Key responsibilities include order fulfillment, processing shipments through warehouse software, general inventory management, and unloading/reloading freight carriers. The role also encompasses additional inventory functions, continuous process improvement activities, and inventory reconciliation. Employees are expected to inspect equipment before use and report any damage. Safety protocols and operational procedures must be followed, maintaining high productivity with minimal supervision and adhering to quality control standards. Flexibility for overtime and performing housekeeping duties are also part of the role, along with any additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • High attention to detail and task focus.
  • Strong teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, squat, kneel, reach, climb, push, and pull for 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able comfortable working in a changing environment, temperatures, with exposure to pollen, dust, dander, and other elements.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and capable of performing repetitive tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one year’s experience working in logistics or warehouse settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pick/Sort/Pack/Ship and Receive material for international and domestic shipments.
  • Perform Visual Inspection.
  • Use warehouse technology (RF Scanner/Android device) to execute picking tasks.
  • Follow standard work instructions and operating procedures (SWI and SOP).
  • Order Fulfillment.
  • Processing shipments through warehouse software.
  • Receiving and general inventory management.
  • Unload/reload freight carriers.
  • Performs additional inventory function.
  • Practice and participate in continuous process improvement activities.
  • Inventory reconciliation.
  • Inspect equipment such as RF devices, pick carts, and totes before use; report any damage to leadership.
  • Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Maintain high productivity with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to quality control standards to reduce errors.
  • Be flexible to work overtime as needed.
