About The Position

A Picker II assists in departments by performing a variety of duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Lead Person and/or Manager. This role involves managing pick ticket orders, pulling warehouse items from correct locations based on number, Item Number, quantity, and quality requirements, and ensuring order accuracy. The Picker II stages items correctly for delivery and is expected to meet a picking quota of 160 cases per hour, with accuracy and efficiency monitored daily/weekly. The position requires operating handling equipment safely, keeping pace with the work area and team, and working collaboratively to achieve product specifications. The Picker II may also assist other departments as assigned and must adhere to company GMPs, SOPs, Rules, and Policies. The role requires following written and oral instructions and striving to satisfy customer requirements. Maintaining a clean work area is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Picking quota is 160 cases per hour.
  • Accuracy and efficiency will be monitored daily/weekly.
  • Must keep pace with work area and team.
  • Must work as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicate well with other team members.
  • Must follow company’s GMP’s, SOP’s, Rules and Policies.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for keeping work area clean.
