About The Position
This role involves organizing the shipping floor, staging daily shipments, packaging materials, preparing orders for shipment, weighing and measuring materials, and using a forklift to move materials. The position also requires returning unprocessed materials to inventory, maintaining transactions and locations in the operating system, and attaching packing slips/certs. Additionally, the role includes operating metal cutting machinery such as bandsaws, using lifting equipment, and performing housekeeping duties in the shipping area.
