About The Position
Under direction of Cath Lab Manager and established policies and procedures, the Cath Lab/Medical Imaging RN Clinician will be responsible for patient care planning and assessment. Executes physician or nursing-initiated interventions and evaluates the response of those interventions. The RN assists in procedures within the Cath Lab as well as duties in Medical Imaging. Performs appropriate and complete documentation of patient care.
Requirements
- Colorado RN license
- BLS on hire
- ACLS and PALS required within 9 months of hire
- Anatomy and physiology, with a special emphasis on the cardiovascular system
- Patient and staff education as it relates to cardiology and medical imaging
Nice To Haves
- Cath Lab experience preferred
- IV conscious sedation preferred
- Critical care background desired
