As our PICC Team Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Every day, as a highly-skilled and specialized nurse, you are responsible for the assessment, insertion, maintenance, and removal of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCs) and Midline catheters in various patient populations (e.g., adult, pediatric, neonatal, depending on the facility). To thrive in this vital role, you will possess advanced knowledge of vascular anatomy, sterile technique, infection prevention, patient education, and troubleshooting related to central line access devices. The PICC Nurse works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based vascular access care.
