About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part-time at The Music Shop, in Boonton, New Jersey. Teachers will teach IN PERSON and can set their availability within our open hours. Consistency is appreciated, and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. The Music Shop has been providing expert musical services to professional musicians, music students of all ages, and school districts in the New York – New Jersey metropolitan area for over 45 years. They are authorized dealers for every brand of instrument and offer sheet music, accessories, private lessons, ensembles, and instrument rentals for school music programs.
Requirements
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching.
- Experience working with young musicians.
- Robust appreciation for punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
