About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a piano teacher to teach and inspire students in a supportive, engaging, and safe learning environment. The teacher will provide lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels, communicate with students and parents about goals and progress, and work with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. The company handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. The role is part-time at the Burien, Washington store. Pay is $20.82 per hour for non-teaching work, plus $10–$21.50 per hour for teaching, depending on background and experience. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with piano.

Nice To Haves

• Further teaching experience with voice or related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.
