About The Position

We are seeking a passionate Piano Teacher to join our team at The Piano Place, a studio under the One Music Schools brand. Our admin team handles all business operations, allowing you to focus solely on teaching. We offer a fun work environment with amazing performance opportunities, ongoing paid training and career development, and company events. Our studios are uniquely decorated and equipped with top-quality instruments and technologies. We prioritize helping each student find refuge and inspiration in music.

Requirements

• Must be able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels
• Must be able to demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview
• Open to first-time teachers and experienced teachers alike
• Must give a minimum of a 1-year commitment to teaching with us
• Submit a Music Specific Resume

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Music Education or Music Performance
• Ability to teach on multiple instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Instructing students for 30-minute lessons
• Assessing new student abilities
• Creating lesson plans
• Preparing students for recitals
• Facilitating student participation in recitals
• Assisting students in reaching their goals for learning
• Communicating with parents/guardians on student progress
