About The Position

We currently have immediate openings for Private Piano Instructors looking to take over part or all of a full teaching schedule in a friendly and fast-growing music school with a reputation for providing instructional excellence. The Allegra School of Music and Arts is an organized and expertly run community arts organization with over 20 years of experience providing rewarding opportunities for dynamic, ambitious, and talented musicians and music educators who want to train up-and-coming students in a thriving and inspiring studio teaching environment. We are looking for committed teachers who complement our dynamic team of educators.

Requirements

Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills.
Well-organized and committed.
Creative, energetic, and inspiring.
Degree in music performance or education.

Responsibilities

Preparing and implementing a teaching plan in line with the school’s rigorous yet flexible teaching methodology.
Providing knowledge and instruction while also helping students develop their love of music.
Presenting lessons in a comprehensive manner and using visual/audio means to facilitate learning.
Providing individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
Creating and distributing educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.).
Assessing and recording students’ progress and providing feedback.
Maintaining a tidy and orderly classroom.
Collaborating and participating in regular meetings with teachers, parents, and the director.
