About The Position
HealthPro Heritage is hiring a part-time Pianist to perform live music for residents at The Hebrew Home, a retirement community in Riverdale, New York. The schedule is Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend availability is required. Candidates with experience playing a secondary portable instrument and who are comfortable moving throughout the venue while performing are strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and the ability to perform live for an audience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a warm, engaging presence.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
- Availability to perform during weekdays with occasional weekend availability.
Nice To Haves
- Experience performing for older adults or in a senior living, healthcare, or community setting.
- Experience playing a secondary portable instrument.
- Comfort moving throughout the venue while performing.
