About The Position
Lifemark Physiotherapy North Bramalea is seeking a Part-time Physiotherapy Assistant to join their team. As a Physiotherapy Assistant at Lifemark, you are an important member of the clinical team, responsible for assisting with client care as directed by a Physiotherapist, and for the maintenance and cleanliness of the treatment area and equipment. The role involves taking pride in thoroughness of work and developing strong relationships with clients and co-workers. Requirements
- PTA diploma or Kinesiology degree preferred
- Previous experience working within a clinic setting
- Personal, friendly demeanor with excellent relationship-building skills
Responsibilities
- Assisting physiotherapists with client care; including the use of ultrasound equipment, exercise programs etc.
- Administrative duties, as required
- Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
- Collecting outcome measure data
- Maintenance and cleaning/sterilization of medical equipment
- Inventory of clinical supplies
