About The Position

As a member of an interdisciplinary health care team, the Physiotherapist provides professional clinical physiotherapy services to residents and resource education to the health care team. This position is with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) at Berkley Care Centre in North Vancouver, BC.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
• Three (3) years recent clinical experience in geriatric setting or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience
• Current full registration as a Physiotherapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
• Eligible for membership in the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC)
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to deal with others effectively
• Ability to determine and deal with emergent situations and exercise reasonable judgement when dealing with families and staff
• Ability to develop and present educational material
• Ability to work within and support a team approach to care
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
