About The Position

Lifemark Physiotherapy Kamloops is seeking a passionate Physiotherapist (PT) to join their team. It has been serving the Kamloops community for over 15 years, specializing in work-related injuries (WorkSafe Acute), motor vehicle injuries (ICBC), and orthopedic or sport injuries. The clinic is wheelchair-accessible and offers free parking. The role involves empowering individuals to overcome challenges, improve mobility, and achieve health goals by providing patient-centered care, developing evidence-informed care plans, and educating patients and families on recovery and self-management strategies. The physiotherapist will also stay current with best practices, utilize modern tools like e-charting, and partner with kinesiologists.

Requirements

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
  • Professional liability insurance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
  • 1–2+ years of outpatient private clinic experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership (as assigned).
  • Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Utilize modern tools, including e-charting and digital communication, to streamline your workflow.
  • Partner with kinesiologists to maximize clinical impact.
  • Educate patients and their families on recovery, prevention, and self-management strategies.
