About The Position
Lifemark Harvey Avenue clinic is a large multidisciplinary rehabilitation facility located in Kelowna, BC. It offers a full rehabilitation gym and private treatment rooms, specializing in Physiotherapy Rehabilitation, Concussion Care, Pain Management, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Counselling, and Hand Therapy. The clinic is situated in the heart of the Okanagan, offering a high quality of life with access to nature and outdoor activities. As a Lifemark physiotherapist, you will be a key part of a multidisciplinary team, helping individuals improve mobility and achieve health goals. This role involves being an educator, motivator, and problem-solver, delivering patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
- Professional liability insurance (as required).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset.
- Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot multi-factorial pain issues/headaches that may or may not have a mental health component.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2+ years of outpatient clinic experience with concussion or traumatic brain injury, vestibular, and craniosaral therapy training (preferred; newly licensed grads are encouraged to apply!).
Responsibilities
- Develop personalized, evidence-informed care plans to support individual rehabilitation and wellness goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centric care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership (as assigned).
- Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
- Utilize modern tools, including e-charting and digital communication, to streamline your workflow.
- Partner with therapy assistants and kinesiologists to maximize clinical impact.
- Educate patients and their families on recovery, prevention, and self-management strategies.
