Physiotherapist Senior, Cancer Services
About The Position
The HSE Mid West FSS An Íarthar Láir has one full-time (1.0 WTE) Senior Physiotherapist in Cancer Services position available on a specified purpose contract for six months. The initial base for this role is University Hospital Limerick (UHL). The UHL Physiotherapy Cancer service is responsible for acute ward care, survivorship programs, lymphoedema detection and management, and collaboration within the wider cancer services multidisciplinary team. A panel may be established from this campaign to fill current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration within the HSE Mid West.
Requirements
- Must be registered with the Physiotherapists Registration Board at The Health and Social Care Professionals Council (CORU) or eligible to register.
- Must have a minimum of three years' full-time post-graduate experience in physiotherapy.
- Must have a minimum of one year's full-time post-graduate experience in physiotherapy in a relevant area of practice (e.g., oncology, lymphoedema management).
- Must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of professional competence, for the post.
