About The Position
To assist students in entry level physics courses with the understanding of course materials. This position involves staffing evening walk-in tutoring sessions and assisting students with course concepts and problem-solving. The tutor will also communicate with the supervising professor regarding course content and assignments.
Requirements
- Completed a significant number of physics major courses preferred.
- Completed PHYS 124 & 125 courses will also be considered.

- Ability to evaluate student work and to provide constructive feedback
- Ability to engage students in discussion of course concepts
- Ability to prioritize student needs for a given tutor session
Responsibilities
- Communicate with the supervising professor about current course content & assignments
