As a Physics & Hardware Systems Engineer (HPM), you will play a technical leadership role focused on architecting, developing, and testing High Power Microwave (HPM) systems for defense applications. Leading the full engineering lifecycle—from architectural layout and requirements breakdown to component selection, physics/RF modeling, and hands-on laboratory testing. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing system requirements and traceability, running simulation models (COMSOL, CST, HFSS, Python), and conducting hands-on validation using RF equipment like VNAs and spectrum analyzers. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative, high-performance systems that require creative engineering solutions, and a commitment to quality and reliability in demanding operating environments.
