About The Position
An instructor is needed to teach introductory physics classes and physics labs primarily in person on the Jefferson Community and Technical College Carrollton campus in Louisville, Kentucky for two days and one evening per week. The position is open for the spring semester 2027.
Requirements
- MS degree in Physics, or 18 hours of graduate-level physics instruction.
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching experience in the field is a plus
- Experience with BlackBoard Ultra
- Good communication skills
- Positive teaching evaluations
- Incorporating diverse perspectives into teaching
- PhD and/or 3 years of teaching experience in introductory physics courses and labs.
Responsibilities
