About The Position

We are seeking a Physicist for a 4-8 week contract to cover Paid Time Off (PTO). The contract can be extended up to 10 weeks if needed. The client is offering an August 31st start date. This role requires the physicist to be able to function independently but also collaborate effectively within a team. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. The facility is a Short Term Acute Care hospital with Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma designations, and a total of 615 staffed beds.

Requirements

• ABR certification.
• Florida state license.
• Proton experience required.
• Cerner charting experience.
• Ability to function alone with no leadership assistance.
• Ability to function well with a team.

Nice To Haves

• Mevion proton accelerator experience preferred.

Responsibilities
