Requirements
- Active medical license in California
- A passion for helping people struggling with drug or alcohol use
- Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation standards
- Eligible to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Experience with telehealth
- 1+ year of experience treating substance use disorder
- Business-fluent Spanish and English
- Experience working with marginalized and underserved populations
Responsibilities
- Treat patients struggling with substance use.
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients at all stages of their recovery journey.
- Collaborate with leaders within the organization to maintain program quality, compliance with regulatory standards, and the well-being of both patients and staff.
- Responsible for intakes, follow-ups, developing individualized assessment and plans, medication management, communicating with patients in between appointments for urgent needs, and timely documentation.
- Collaborate regularly with the rest of the treatment team consisting of the medical director, therapists, and case managers to provide comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Treat patients struggling with drug or alcohol use.
- Complete documentation.
- Assist mid-levels (e.g., Nurse Practitioners) with complicated cases.
