About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a part-time Physician to provide onsite coverage for their Tullahoma and Fayetteville centers. Crossroads Treatment Centers is dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder. They aim to help patients start their path to recovery through a comprehensive outpatient approach. The organization has a significant reach, serving over 26,500 patients across multiple states with office-based clinics.

Requirements

• Active and clear licensure to practice medicine in the state(s) in which patient care will be provided.
• DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice with 2, 2N, 3, 4, & 5 scheduling.
• Credentialed through Medicaid and Medicare.
• Board certified in primary specialty in one of the following: Family Practice/Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Practice, Psychiatry.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the field of substance abuse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment.
• Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
• Provide injections if needed.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
