About The Position
QuadMed is looking for a Physician to join our team in our HII clinic in Newport News, VA. Join a team that is redefining health care! This position is located onsite in Newport News, VA. The practice is based on quality of care and not productivity, with a commercially insured patient base. It is outpatient only with a preventative medicine focus, offering work-life balance and a realistic patient panel size. The role utilizes EMR–Epic. Requirements
- MD. or D.O degree from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy and completion appropriate residency.
- Active Board certification or eligibility required.
- Active and unrestricted applicable licensure, with current DEA registration.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred three years occupational health or ambulatory primary care practice experience; if less than 3 years agrees to mentoring, and coaching, from another provider if assigned.
- Experience with an EMR preferred.
- May be required to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner Certification, depending on job responsibilities or location.
