About The Position
Seeking a physician for a 100% outpatient Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine program. The role involves treating various types of wounds, overseeing hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and serving as Medical Director. The position is approximately 90% clinical and 10% administrative. The work schedule is Monday-Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with no on-call or inpatient duties required. The program serves over 200,000 residents and is located in an area with nationally recognized schools, a diverse economy, recreational amenities, and scenic natural beauty.
Requirements
- Physician
- Specialty in General Surgery, Podiatry, Plastic Surgery, or Vascular Surgery (other specialties considered)
Responsibilities
- Treating diabetic, venous/arterial, pressure & surgical wounds
- Overseeing HBO therapy
- Serving as Medical Director
