About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is seeking motivated physicians to lead wound care initiatives within Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout Rhinebeck and the surrounding Dutchess County/Hudson Valley communities. This role offers clinical autonomy without corporate bureaucracy, a schedule built around your life with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities, and efficient routes between facilities. Our custom software is designed for speed and intuition, reducing administrative burden. Physicians will act as the expert on the ground, managing outcomes based on their clinical judgment. This role offers the opportunity to build a serious income while staying rooted in the community.

Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Clear/Unrestricted New York Medical License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Completed Residency: Must have successfully completed an accredited residency program.
• Surgeons of all backgrounds, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine physicians are welcome.
• No previous wound care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives within Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Perform Surgical Debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Utilize advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Engage in collaborative care within the post-acute setting.
