About The Position

Arthritis Knee Pain Centers is seeking a dedicated per diem Physician to help patients with joint pain and arthritis find relief through non-surgical, non-opioid treatments and therapies. The physician performs staff-assisted viscosupplementation injections and helps ensure patients have comfortable, efficient visits. The role is in-person in an office-based private practice, with an as-needed schedule during the organization’s Monday-to-Friday operating hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The organization provides care for patients with chronic knee osteoarthritis and emphasizes empathy, care, transparency, and individualized treatment. Team members receive support and training, exposure to leadership and business operations, and opportunities to participate in developmental events. Arthritis Knee Pain Centers states that it has 16 medical practices across the United States and is growing.

Requirements

MD or DO degree.
At least 2 years of practice experience.
Proven working experience as a physician.
Knowledge of orthopedic medical procedures.
Excellent time management and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Social perceptiveness and a service-oriented approach.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.

Responsibilities

Implement patient treatment plans, including recommending supplements, injections, and other therapies.
Administer viscosupplementation agents using current technology and clinically researched products.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to minimize joint pain and damage.
Complete provider note documentation and modifications.
Ensure a positive patient experience.
