About The Position

Ember Health is seeking part-time physicians to provide consistent evening coverage (4-9 PM) as the organization expands its clinic hours. This role offers a guaranteed minimum of 1-2 evenings per week, with potential for more over time, and additional ad-hoc daytime shifts. Part-time physicians are integral to Ember's supportive, mission-driven culture, leading nurses and administrators on the evening team. The compensation starts at $160/hour, with potential for increases based on commitment and performance. For those unable to commit to regular evening shifts, opportunities exist in a general per-diem pool for flexible coverage.

Requirements

• MD or DO with an active or attainable State Medical License
• Disciplines may include Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology, Intensive Care, Internal Medicine, or Psychiatry (with relevant infusion experience)
• Comfortable with clinical monitoring, IV placement, and infusion management
• Skilled in IV placement and cardio-respiratory monitoring
• Comfortable with procedural sedation monitoring
• Experience in therapeutic patient communication

Nice To Haves

• Mental health experience or knowledge of depression is a plus

Responsibilities

• Facilitate IV ketamine infusions in accordance with Ember protocols
• Monitor patients during infusion and manage/escalate complications
• Create a calm, safe, and professional environment
• Engage in therapeutic communications with patients before and after infusions
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Keep a safe, organized, and clean work area
• Collaborate professionally with the Ember Health team
