About The Position
Skilled Wound Care is a national physician group seeking motivated MDs and DOs to provide wound care in nursing facilities. This role offers an alternative to traditional hospital employment, focusing on clinical autonomy and reduced administrative burden. As a mobile wound care physician and independent contractor, you will manage patient care and outcomes, with the company handling facility contracts and billing. The position emphasizes practicing medicine without hospital politics or overhead, utilizing advancements in wound healing. A custom software system is used to minimize administrative and documentation time.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
- Active and unrestricted DEA license.
Nice To Haves
- No need to have completed a full residency program.
- No need to be Board Certified/Eligible to thrive in this role.
Responsibilities
