Our client, a fast-growing healthcare AI startup, is seeking physicians to join its mission-driven, technology-enabled care model. A national, tech-enabled medical group delivering comprehensive adult care through telemedicine. As an early-stage startup, they move quickly, build intentionally, and offer physicians the opportunity to help shape the future of care delivery. Patient-Centered Access: Meeting patients where they are through evidence-based care Comprehensive Adult Care: Covering urgent, acute, and primary care supported by an internal subspecialist network Technology with Purpose: Leveraging AI tools to streamline intake, documentation, and coordination so physicians can focus on clinical decision-making Accessible Care: Accepting insurance (including Medicare/Medicaid) and self-pay, with full operational support for referrals, labs, and scheduling This is a unique opportunity for physicians who want meaningful clinical impact, flexibility, and the ability to help build a next-generation care model from the ground up.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- At least 1 year of telehealth experience - REQUIRED
- Licensed across multiple states covering ~40% of the U.S. population (including at least two of these states: CA, TX, FL, NY)
- U.S.-trained physician (MD/DO) - no Caribbean schools
- Comfortable with modern tech tools (Athena, Slack, Zoom, etc.) and interested in leveraging AI in clinical workflows
- Strong communicator with patients across video and written formats
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality adult primary care via video and asynchronous telemedicine (36 clinical hours/week)
- Treat a diverse patient population, including Medicare and Medicaid patients
- Collaborate with an internal network of subspecialists
- Utilize AI-powered workflows (scribe tools, automated routing, integrated notes) to maximize efficiency
- Contribute to building clinical guidelines, quality standards, and operational processes as an early team member
