About The Position

The Physician at Oklahoma Wound Center is responsible for evaluating patients, obtaining pertinent information for diagnosis and treatment, and ordering further testing or referrals as necessary. The role involves appropriate documentation in the EMR, completing necessary forms and correspondence in a timely manner, fostering staff development, and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

• Allopathic (MD) or Osteopathic (DO) Physician
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Completion of an IM or FM residency program
• Current Oklahoma Medical License and DEA/OBNDD
• Other required licenses/board certifications pertinent to specialty/area worked
• Must have formal NRHS Medical Staff privileges for specialty/area worked; includes age-specific competency

Nice To Haves

• Previous HBO experience
• HBO certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient and obtains pertinent information for the diagnosis and treatment of the medical problem.
• Orders further testing and refers to other medical providers as necessary for the appropriate medical management of the patient.
• Documents appropriately in the EMR and completes all necessary forms and correspondence for proper patient care in a timely manner.
• Fosters the development of staff to fulfill the current and future requirements of individuals and the organization.
• Provides a safe environment for patients and staff.
