About The Position

Gardner Health Services is recruiting a Family Practice Physician for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position based at the St. James Health Center in San Jose, California. The Physician is part of the medical provider team and delivers medical services to Gardner Health Services patients. Under the general supervision of the Medical Director/Chief Medical Officer and Clinic Coordinator, the Physician provides direct primary medical care and guidance to patients and makes appropriate referrals.

The ideal candidate can work independently and as part of a team, and can provide strong customer service to patients from varied backgrounds and cultures. English and Spanish language skills are preferred but not required. Compensation and placement level depend on relevant experience and education; the stated rate is $126.23 per hour. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited medical school with a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree.
• Complete an approved residency program as required by the position.
• Possess a valid California physician’s license.
• Hold current, valid CPR certification.
• Possess a Physician's Assistant Supervisory Certificate.
• Obtain physician's clearance, including tuberculosis test clearance.
• Maintain current controlled substance registration.
• Complete a malpractice application.
