About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is hiring physicians of any specialty to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, clinical autonomy, hands-on procedures, and the opportunity to follow patients through healing. Part-time work alongside a current practice is also available. Comprehensive wound care training is provided, and no prior wound care or procedural experience is required.

Compensation is per patient and per procedure, with quarterly bonus programs. The posting lists average annual earnings of $200,000–$250,000 and states that there is no earning cap for independent contractors; top performers can earn $300,000 or more through performance bonuses. Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted or clear medical license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Physicians from any specialty are welcome.
• Complete pre-employment confidential DiSC testing and appropriate relevant skills testing.

Nice To Haves

• Completed residency and board certification or board eligibility are not required.
• Previous wound care or procedural experience is not required; comprehensive training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Provide collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing.
• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.
