Cougar Health Services (CHS) at Washington State University is seeking skilled and compassionate physicians to join their team. The team is dedicated to supporting the health and wellness of WSU students, providing inclusive, student-centered care in a safe and welcoming environment. As a Physician for CHS, you will provide primary care for WSU students, demonstrating competence in general medicine, sports medicine, trauma, infectious diseases, minor surgical procedures, dermatology, mental health, sexual health, and psychosocial medicine. You will practice within the scope of your board certification to prescribe, place, and provide contraceptive products and serve as a resource for students seeking family planning options. Your care will include patient education on family planning, sexual health, and reproductive medicine. You will be expected to uphold professionalism, collaborate effectively, and promote preventive care, patient education, and cost-effective practices. You will also support CHS and the university through non-clinical work as requested. CHS Medical Clinic provides a comprehensive range of medical services tailored to the unique needs of college students, including General Health Care, Mental Health Care, Reproductive and Sexual Health, Infectious Diseases, Acute Care Visits, Immunizations, Sports Medicine, Treatment and Evaluation of Skin conditions including acne, and Minor Procedures. Additional on-campus services include a full-service pharmacy, Vision Clinic, Counseling and Psychological Services, Psychiatric Services, Dietician, and On-Site X-Ray Services with a Point of Care Lab.
