About The Position
Skilled Wound Care is seeking motivated MDs and DOs to provide mobile wound care in nursing facilities. This role offers a path away from hospital politics and administrative burdens, allowing physicians to focus on practicing medicine. As an independent contractor, you will have autonomy in clinical decisions and patient outcomes, with the company handling facility contracts and billing. The position emphasizes practicing pure medicine with the latest advancements in wound healing, zero overhead, and uncapped earning potential. Physicians can expect to earn an average starting pay of $220,000 - $250,000 annually, with the potential to reach $300,000+ through additional services and performance bonuses. The role eliminates nights, on-call emergencies, and weekend rounds, and utilizes a custom software system to reduce administrative and documentation time.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
- Active and unrestricted DEA license.
