About The Position
Skilled Wound Care is a national physician group seeking motivated MDs and DOs to provide wound care in nursing facilities. This role offers an alternative to traditional hospital employment, focusing on patient care with reduced administrative burden and overhead. As an independent contractor, physicians will make clinical decisions and manage patient outcomes, while the company handles facility contracts and billing. The position emphasizes practicing medicine with autonomy, utilizing the latest advancements in wound healing, and offers a flexible schedule with no on-call duties or weekend work. A custom software system is used to minimize administrative and documentation time.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
- Active and unrestricted DEA license.

- You do not need to have completed a full residency program.
- You do not need to be Board Certified/Eligible to thrive in this role.
