About The Position

This position is a partial Medical Director (10%) and primary Clinical Physician (90%) role within a growing vascular medicine organization that operates 8 offices in the greater Phoenix area. The Medical Director will join a team of 2 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers, who are supported by registered nurses, vascular sonographers, and other support staff. The practice sees patients for conditions such as venous insufficiency, varicose veins, spider veins, restless leg syndrome, leg swelling, and leg heaviness. The practice uses the DrChrono EHR and state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment. The role includes new patient consultations, follow-up visits, and performing procedures such as radiofrequency ablation, sclerotherapy, Varithena, and Venaseal. Physicians typically perform 3 procedures per hour on procedure days and see an average of 12 patients per day on clinic days. The position begins with a 6-week paid training program in Texas with all expenses covered.

Requirements

• Arizona medical license
• DEA
• Board Certification or Eligibility, relevant field
• strong background and interest in procedural work
• previous experience leading a small team

Nice To Haves

• Ability to add a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to partner with them once established (optional - not required).
