Physician, Urology (Castro Valley/Oakland, CA)
About The Position
Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is actively recruiting a BE/BC Urologist to join our primary site in Oakland, with the possibility of working in our other sites in Castro Valley or Antioch. We are looking for a physician who is interested in both ambulatory care and hospital-based care with surgical skills including laparoscopy and robotic surgery. This is an opportunity to join a congenial and supportive team of 3 board-certified, established Urologists, utilizing state-of-the-art technology including access to 3 da Vinci Xi surgical robots. Surgical PAs are available to assist in OR cases. The role offers opportunities for practice growth and expansion, as well as medical group and hospital leadership opportunities. The compensation model is productivity-based with the opportunity for a production bonus, and additional income from paid hospital call shifts. The position offers a great diversity of patients and varied work environments including office-based, hospital, and surgery centers. This is an opportunity to become a part of a rapidly growing and dynamic multi-specialty medical group, located in a prime location in the heart of the East Bay with easy access to San Francisco, Napa Valley, and Lake Tahoe.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- General full service urologist laparoscopic skills
Responsibilities
- Provide ambulatory care and hospital-based care.
- Perform surgical procedures including laparoscopy and robotic surgery.
- Assist in OR cases.
- Participate in practice growth and expansion.
- Engage in medical group and hospital leadership opportunities.
- Work with a diverse patient population in various settings (office-based, hospital, surgery centers).

- Salary range $543,292 - $602,387 (base compensation for full time clinicians, does not include incentives and benefits)
