About The Position
California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) Transplant Program is seeking a full-time, BC/BE Transplant Hepatologist physician to join their Division of Hepatology, which consists of 10 transplant hepatologists engaged in clinical care, research, education, and advocacy. CPMC is a 274-bed state-of-the-art hospital in San Francisco, serving as a tertiary/quaternary hospital for the Sutter 20+ hospital network and a referral center for Northern California and Nevada. The program also operates 10 regional liver clinics. The Division of Hepatology cares for a diverse patient population with both general and transplant hepatology needs. CPMC's Transplant Program has a 50-year history of solid organ transplantation, performing 96 cadaveric donor liver transplants in 202%. The division has active clinical programs in areas such as Alcohol Associated Liver Disease, Portal Hypertension, Autoimmune Liver Disease, Metabolic dysfunction Associated Steatotic Liver Disease, Liver Cancer, and Transplant Oncology. Members are involved in clinical trials, clinical research, and NIH-funded studies. Hepatologists are core faculty for the ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology fellowships at CPMC. The clinical activities are supported by robust administrative and nursing staff.
Requirements
- BC/BE in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology
- Active or eligible for a California Medical License
