Physician - Transplant and Cellular Therapy
About The Position
Franciscan Health is seeking a board-certified physician to meet the growing demand for Bone Marrow Transplant services at Indiana Blood & Marrow Transplantation (IBMT) located at the Franciscan Cancer Center in Indianapolis, IN. The physician will join an established, collegial team. The IBMT program is one of only two FACT accredited programs in the State of Indiana, performing over 100 transplants a year. The program offers both Allogeneic & Autologous transplants, as well as cellular therapy for hematological malignancies including leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma, as well as autoimmune disorders. IBMT is a National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) collection center for Bone Marrow & Peripheral Blood Stem Cells, with a Stem Cell processing laboratory on site. The program has both inpatient and outpatient services. Immune Effector Cell Therapies and Clinical Research are also part of the program. Franciscan Physician Network (FPN) is seeking up to 4 full-time physicians to provide staffing for the IBMT program at Franciscan Health Indianapolis, inclusive of one physician serving as the practice medical director.

Nice To Haves
- Experience in Bone Marrow Transplant services.
- Experience with Allogeneic & Autologous transplants.

- Experience with National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) collection center for Bone Marrow & Peripheral Blood Stem Cells.
- Experience with Immune Effector Cell Therapies and Clinical Research.
- Experience in a FACT accredited program.
Responsibilities
- Provide staffing for the IBMT program at Franciscan Health Indianapolis.
- Serve as the practice medical director (for one physician).
- Coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
- Rotate clinic coverage for 3 weeks and inpatient every 4th week.
- Work collaboratively with the team.
