About The Position

Community Health Network is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist with fellowship training in Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy to join their expanding transplant team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This physician will be the third physician with the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy Institute, contributing to its growth as a premier destination for advanced hematologic malignancy care in the Midwest. The role is supported by Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center, offering practice within an integrated cancer program that combines nationally recognized oncology expertise with a patient-first culture. Community MD Anderson is a unique partner with MD Anderson Cancer Center, bringing advanced cancer care to patients throughout the region.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
  • Fellowship training in Blood & Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy
  • Eligible for Indiana medical licensure

  • Experience with autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation, CART-cell therapies, and Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocyte (TIL) therapy

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with experienced transplant physicians, hematologists, oncologists, and multidisciplinary cancer specialists.
  • Help shape the continued growth of a comprehensive Cellular Therapy Institute.
  • Participate in program development, clinical innovation, quality initiatives, and transplant-specific tumor boards.
  • Engage in comprehensive multidisciplinary collaboration with various specialties including Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Genetics, Rehabilitation Services, Survivorship Programs, Nurse Navigators, and Supportive Care Teams.
  • Utilize a robust clinical research infrastructure with multiple open clinical trials available for patient enrollment.
  • Work with state-of-the-art facilities and advanced oncology technology.
