About The Position

Emory at LaGrange Orthopaedics & Spine clinics offers a full range of services, from non-surgical treatments to surgical options, with the goal of helping patients return to a full and active lifestyle or develop strategies to improve their health. The LaGrange outpatient clinics service a populous of more than 250,000. With increasing patient population and community growth, there is an opportunity to see and treat a broad range of medical conditions alongside a diverse demographic. LaGrange is described as an exciting place to live with a mild climate and extraordinary lakefront community, offering outdoor activities, an art scene, good schools, and easy access to amenities. The community also hosts Georgia’s International Business Park (GIPB), a significant business hub with international representation. This role is for a Spine Proceduralist specializing in injections, pain management procedures, light opioid prescription authority, and minimally invasive procedures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in musculoskeletal and nerve-related conditions and will work closely with the Emory Pain Management Clinic. The Physician will attend to the needs of all patients within the scope of licensing, training, and credentialing, performing patient care activities to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Physician and assist in generating adequate practice volume. The Physician will also participate in on-call duties and actively participate in meetings and committees, practicing medicine within the current scope of national patient safety goals.

Requirements

  • Must possess a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.).
  • Must hold a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia.
  • Hold a valid DEA certificate without restriction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be computer literate.

Nice To Haves

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred.
  • Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred.

Responsibilities
