About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a BE/BC Sleep Medicine physician to join their well-established team in Chicago’s western suburbs. This is an employed full-time position within Northwestern Medicine, a growing, nationally recognized health system. The physician will join a multi-specialty sleep group that includes pulmonary, neurology, and pediatric specialists, along with a Sleep Psychologist and APNs. The group offers excellent clinical support with in-house DME and sleep technologists. Clinics are located at NM Central DuPage Hospital (Winfield, IL), NM Delnor Hospital (Geneva, IL), and Naperville, IL. The group promotes a collegial work environment, physician success, and compassionate care, utilizing the EPIC electronic health record system.

Requirements

BE/BC (Board Eligible/Board Certified)
Physician licensed in Illinois or eligible for licensure.
Completion of a Sleep Medicine fellowship program.
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is likely beneficial.

Responsibilities

Provide sleep medicine services as a BE/BC physician.
Collaborate with a multi-specialty sleep group including pulmonary, neurology, and pediatric specialists.
Work within a team of 2 Sleep Medicine Physicians, a Pediatric Sleep physician, a Sleep Psychologist, 7 pulmonologists, and 5 APN’s.
Utilize in-house DME and sleep technologists for CPAP setup and mask fitting.
Practice medicine within Northwestern Medicine's framework of "Patients First" and compassionate care.
Focus on practicing medicine with financial stability and administrative support.
