Site Lead - Family Medicine Los Gatos
About The Position
University Medical Partners (UMP), a partner of Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Family Medicine physician to join our clinic in Los Gatos, CA, as the Physician Site Lead. This role involves a blend of clinical practice and administrative oversight. The clinical aspect includes practicing full-spectrum Family Medicine (without OB), seeing an average of 18-20 patients per day over 33 patient-facing hours per week, and performing basic outpatient procedures. The practice is supported by nine Primary Care Clinicians and offers access to Stanford and Community Specialists. The administrative role involves overseeing a primary care clinic and an express care clinic, dedicating three administrative hours per week. The Physician Site Lead will act as an ambassador for UMP, focusing on clinician engagement, supporting recruitment, and integrating new clinicians. Prior leadership experience is required for this position.

Responsibilities
- Practice full-spectrum Family Medicine (without OB) including newborns and perform basic outpatient procedures such as joint injections, laceration repairs, skin biopsies, IUD placements, etc.
- See an average of 18-20 patients per day over 33 patient-facing hours per week.
- Share in a light call schedule (telephone calls only with RN triaging).
- Oversee primary care clinic of nine (9) Primary Care Clinicians and express care clinic of three (3) Advanced Practice Clinicians.
- Dedicate three (3) administrative hours per week.
- Serve as an ambassador of UMP, representing its interests, values, and goals.
- Build and be accountable for clinician buy-in and engagement as measured by Clinician Net Promoter Score (cNPS).
- Support UMP team recruitment.
- Integrate newly hired clinicians.
