About The Position

The Physician Services Operations Analyst supports the strategic and operational success of physician practices by analyzing financial, operational, and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. The role collaborates with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making, improve efficiency, and advance organizational goals.

The analyst prepares and presents reports and performance metrics, evaluates operational processes, and identifies strategies to improve efficiency, financial performance, cost-effectiveness, and resource utilization. The position also monitors industry and market developments and supports continuous improvement across physician practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, evaluate financial and operational trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to analyze data, develop reports, and present findings effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly to leadership, management, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify operational improvement and cost-effectiveness opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to build working relationships across departments and support process improvement initiatives.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in an analyst role within a professional setting preferred.
• Healthcare or physician practice operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational, financial, and performance data to identify trends, evaluate results, and support data-driven decisions.
• Develop and present monthly reports, performance metrics, and actionable insights to leadership.
• Identify business opportunities and recommend strategies to improve efficiency, financial performance, cost-effectiveness, and resource utilization across physician practices.
• Evaluate policies, procedures, and workflows and recommend improvements to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and strengthen operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, department directors, and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and organizational objectives.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and reports used for business analysis, performance monitoring, and leadership decisions.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments, and operational best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Apply critical thinking and business judgment to solve complex problems, communicate findings, and drive measurable operational improvements.
