About The Position

Landmark Hospital of Columbia is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Hospitalist team. This is a position within a small, private Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital where collaboration is key. The PA will work with a dedicated team of Hospitalists, specialists, and an interdisciplinary team to care for medically complex patients with an average length of stay of 25-30 days. This role offers the opportunity to form meaningful connections with patients and witness their recovery, while also expanding clinical skills. The Physician's Assistant (PA) works within the scope of their practice and is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with hospital standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care. They will collaborate closely with in-house hospitalists and specialists on a daily basis.

Requirements

Physician's Assistant degree, with clinical specialization preparation to function in an expanded role
Physician's Assistant license in the State where the position is located
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in med surg/ICU/ER
BLS-required upon hire
ACLS (upon hire or obtained within first 90 days)
