About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Rheumatologist to join their team in the western suburbs of Chicago. This is an opportunity to build a career with a leading healthcare provider in the Chicagoland area. The role involves joining a team of 5 practicing Rheumatologists in full-time outpatient clinic positions located in Geneva and Elgin, IL. The position includes a 1:6 weekend call schedule and hospital privileges with inpatient rounds at Northwestern Medicine Delnor and Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital. This is an employed, full-time position within Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group, a successful and expanding multi-specialty physician group that fosters a collegial work environment, physician success, and compassionate care. The organization utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Rheumatology
• Physician licensed in Illinois

Responsibilities

• Provide rheumatology care in outpatient clinics.
• Participate in hospital privileges and inpatient rounds.
• Manage patient care using the EPIC electronic health record system.
