About The Position

PracticeMatch is seeking a Physician Relations Specialist Intern to join their team. This is a remote, part-time position (20-30 hours per week) lasting approximately 3 months. The intern will conduct phone interviews with physicians to gather personal contact information and practice preferences, make outbound calls about future practice opportunities, inform physicians about PracticeMatch's career resources, and handle inbound calls from physicians, hospitals, and administrators. The role requires meeting daily and weekly quotas for phone call attempts and physician interviews, with a target of 15 phone calls per hour.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent work experience; sales and/or customer support preferred.
• Must be currently enrolled at a college or university.
• Superior listening skills and professional phone communication.
• Experience using LinkedIn.
• Possesses self-motivation and assertiveness to achieve goals.
• Efficient communication skills are required in order to be successful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail, as the job consists of data entry of information received from physician.

Responsibilities

• Complete phone interviews with physicians to obtain their personal contact information and future practice desires.
• Place outbound calls to physicians regarding future practice opportunities.
• Inform physicians on PracticeMatch's career resources.
• Receive inbound calls from physicians, hospitals, and administrators.
• Work independently to meet their daily and weekly quota of phone call attempts as well as physicians interviewed.
• Produce 15 phone calls per hour.
