About the Opportunity A rapidly expanding, mission-driven healthcare organization in the Silicon Valley region is seeking a Recruitment Manager to lead and scale its talent acquisition function. This organization provides integrated, community-focused care and is continuing to grow across multiple service lines. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating at both a strategic and executional level—leading a team while remaining directly involved in hiring efforts across clinical and non-clinical functions. Position Overview The Recruitment Manager will oversee recruiting operations while personally managing key searches. This individual will partner closely with leadership across departments to drive hiring initiatives, improve processes, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience. Success in this role requires balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on recruiting, while building scalable systems that support continued organizational growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (HR, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field)
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within healthcare
  • Strong understanding of healthcare hiring dynamics
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 2+ years of team leadership or mentoring experience preferred
  • Experience hiring clinical talent (physicians, APPs, nurses, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruiting analytics tools (e.g., Greenhouse or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily recruiting operations across multiple departments
  • Allocate requisitions and manage team workload to ensure hiring timelines are met
  • Coach and develop recruiting team members to strengthen sourcing and stakeholder engagement
  • Establish performance expectations and track team metrics
  • Standardize hiring workflows, interview processes, and candidate experience practices
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and healthcare hiring regulations
  • Collaborate with leadership to anticipate workforce needs and align hiring strategies
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for a range of roles (clinical, operational, administrative)
  • Support hiring for physicians, advanced practice providers, and other medical staff
  • Source candidates through multiple channels including direct outreach and professional networks
  • Conduct screenings, coordinate interviews, and guide hiring decisions
  • Lead offer development, negotiation, and closing
  • Partner with HR to ensure smooth onboarding transitions
  • Represent the organization at industry events and recruiting initiatives
  • Serve as a brand ambassador to communicate culture, mission, and value proposition
  • Partner with marketing to develop recruiting campaigns and job advertising strategies
  • Build relationships with training programs, associations, and academic institutions
  • Stay informed on market trends and evolving workforce dynamics
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and pipeline health
  • Maintain accurate data within the ATS and ensure reporting integrity
  • Identify trends and implement improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide regular updates and insights to leadership
