About The Position

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Diagnostic Radiology for a Locum Tenens position at an Acute Care Hospital in Mountain Home, AR. This role involves ongoing coverage for scheduled clinical shifts, focusing on 100% Diagnostic Radiology. The position is full-time, with shifts typically lasting 8.5-9 hours and starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM CST. The patient demographic is adult, and phone consults may be required as needed. The existing Radiology Group provides support, with Interventional Radiologists available for major procedures. The case mix includes General Diagnostic Radiology, ER, and MSK studies. While diagnostic interpretation is the primary focus, optional backup assistance with procedures is available if desired. The hospital has a Trauma Level of Adult III and IV. New graduates are accepted, and while fellowship training in MSK, Neuro, or Body MRI is desired, all fellowships and general radiologists are encouraged to apply. Experience with PET imaging and Breast imaging is a significant plus. No call and no weekends are required. Hospital privileges are available, and travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Nice To Haves

Fellowship training in MSK, Neuro, or Body MRI
Comfortable with MSK, ER, and general diagnostic studies
PET imaging experience
Breast imaging experience

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic interpretation of General Diagnostic Radiology, ER, and MSK studies.
Provide phone consults as needed.
Optionally assist with procedures if interested (not mandatory).
Work 8.5-9 hour shifts with start times varying between 7:00 AM–9:00 AM and end times between 5:00 PM–6:00 PM CST.
