About The Position

Provides medical educational and multidisciplinary team coordination services to the assigned areas. Provides independent judgment in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan. Assures care for patients and families are reflective of the organization's core values.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree with board certification
  • Licensure to practice in the state of Indiana
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in the area of expertise
  • Vaccinations, including the influenza and COVID-19 vaccines (or approved exemption)

Nice To Haves

  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Other certifications may be required per medical staff requirements
